Illustrated by  Colin Batty

Paperback 2010 Paperback 106 pages.

The activities of Baby-sitting and supernatural investigating don’t usually go hand in hand, but there’s nothing usual about Stella. In her second adventure, Stella Sedgewick is in deep when Potato, the boy she’s baby-sitting goes missing, right from under her nose. Now the case is personal, and she’ll have to use all investigating skills to find her missing ward, even if it means searching a haunted carnival to save the boy from an untimely cooking. She wants the truth, but she must get Potato back, and getting either is going to be all in a night's work. The second book in the Stella series is darker than the first, but still with the same quirky fun characters and some interesting new ones. Stella's Baby-Sitting Service is a must read for any young person considering going into the babysitting business.
