Sticking very loosely to history, this bawdy comedy Sci-fi novel follows Slick, a slightly damaged but insightful Heavy Metal rocker from the late 1990’s, who time-travels to 1944 on a secret mission for the US Military, to help defeat the Third Reich. With top secret orders in hand, Slick commandeers a squad of confused Army regulars. Together they endure deadly skirmishes and biting cold; as well as Slick’s endless detailed sex stories, rock music lectures and hair brained soldiering, as they battle their way to Berlin.
