Open all major holidays except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day.
Admission is $10 per person, $7 on Tuesdays. Bring a well-behaved pet along and get 1 free admission. Come in wearing a decent* costume, and get 1 free admission. We have a nonprofit rate for groups with caregivers (caregivers get complementary admission, and clients pay $5 per person), and groups of 5 or more get an admission discount.
*a Decent Costume is determined at the sole discretion of the cashier. This must be something you wouldn't wear to work or everyday. Be creative! A simple hat or a pin won't make the cut. Think full cosplay!
Metered street parking is available. Sunday parking is free.
Buy admission tickets HERE, but advance purchase is not necessary. You can always get admission tickets at the door.
The museum is approximately 1800 sq ft of weird collections, original art, interactive photo ops, cryptids (no jump scares!), oddities, and underground Portland and PNW history. We have no stairs and are at street level. The museum & gift shop content is best for older children (above 10 years old) and up. Some youngers can get a little scared.
The gift shop is free to peruse and offers postcards, posters, pranks, original art and reproductions, novelties, books and magazines, etc. Much of the one-of-a-kind, original art in the gift shop is not available on the website because it sells fast! Come in to see the latest art.
