Olaf “The Browsing Gentleman” Vinterhorn hailed from the rugged fjords of Bergen, where the men were strong, the cattle were stronger, and the line between the two was... politely ignored.

Legend says Olaf was born during a thunderstorm inside a barn that mysteriously vanished the next day. By the age of five, he could pull a cart full of turnips uphill with just his willpower. By fifteen, he was elected mayor of his village through an unspoken ritual involving eye contact and fermented rutabagas.

Despite his impressive horns and well-manicured beard, Olaf was a philosopher at heart. He spent most mornings gazing into the mist and mooing softly at existential questions. He was known for his fairness, his impeccable pocket square, and his ability to stare down both wolves and bank managers.

This portrait was taken shortly after he negotiated peace between two feuding goat clans and just before he disappeared into the mountains, where it’s said he now teaches stoic philosophy to yaks.
