Professor Lucius Balphagor Grimmtuft was once the Dean of Infernal Studies at St. Louis’s highly exclusive and extremely flammable Academia Diabolica. Born with a cranium of such vast volume that he was issued his own zip code (and umbrella), Lucius was rumored to hold entire alternate dimensions in his frontal lobe.
The horns? Decorative. The ears? Batlike and bilingual. The third eye? Always watching, especially during exams.
Despite his ominous appearance and signature “doom whisper,” Lucius was known to be quite personable, often hosting tea parties for recently-escaped souls and the occasional spectral raccoon. The crown symbol tattooed on his forehead was a temporary choice that, unfortunately, became permanent due to a clerical error involving an exploding summoning circle.
This photo was taken moments before he levitated three feet off the ground, sneezed out a minor demon, and declared, “I am not combing my beard again until someone invents pocket jazz!”
