Wedding Vows at the Peculiarium!

Yesterday, we experienced a most peculiar event. A couple came in to renew their wedding vows, right in front of Bigfoot! They are in pursuit of the world record for most wedding vows for a married couple. We understand the record is 101, so they should have this in the bag. They were a charming couple, and even brought their own cake (which we covered with bugs, because that’s how we roll). Their vow renewals, officiated by Lisa in her official Peculiarium lab coat, included some lovely verses from Edgar Allen Poe’s The Raven. Many witnesses enjoyed the event and the cake, including a few folks with awesome timing who were just walking to the bus stop down the street. We wish Carrie and Marcellus many, many renewed vows, and hope they get their world record!

Seattle Crypticon 2013

We just wanted to give everyone a heads up that we will be appearing at the quickly approaching Crypticon Seattle 2013, on May 24th thru 26th. We’ve reserved booth space in the main Vendor Room where you can all come say hello. Crypticon Seattle, along with being the largest Horror convention in the Northwest, has a ton of awesome events, like; Zombie Speed Dating, Prom of the Dead, Live Action Role Playing demonstrations, an amazing Film Festival, the Hauntipede, 18 of the horror genre’s favorite actors, artists, prop masters and so much more!
